HuffPo supports harassment based on politics, not a surprise

I shouldn’t be surprised, but it seems the left just can’t go any lower at times, then they prove they can at least try. Most recently, the Huffington Post, a well known liberal publication, said that Tom Brady isn’t getting enough blowback for supporting Donald Trump in the election last year. We’ve seen this for the last 8 years mostly, although it was always there to a point, and the digital age just made it worse. In 08 and 12, anyone who said anything other than praise for Barack Obama was instantly the most racist person on the planet and looking to bring back the days when slaves were lynched everywhere. Last year anyone who didn’t support Hillary was a sexist looking to put women back in the kitchen and send the country 100+ years back in time.

I would LOVE to get an honest answer out of one of these idiots, asking why they defended people being silenced when it was Obama running then in office, or when it was Hillary running, but now defend harassment based on a personal choice. But, it’s the same as if you ask why someone supported Obama blocking immigration, or bombing countries, but they don’t support Trump just doing the same. I could hold up a list of actions that Obama took that Trump is taking, say “Trump is doing exactly what Obama did for 8 years” and I would be told I’m wrong, Obama bred unicorns that shat gold, and Trump is literally the love child of Hitler and Satan. Trump could hand these idiots $1000 each and they’d take it, then call him evil for not giving them more.

So, the question isn’t why any more, as that won’t ever be answered, or already has and is simply that the left is a hypocritical and selfish group, rather, the question is how can we wake up a generation that firmly believes their candidate not winning is the end of the world, or that words are so horrible that they have the right to forcibly silence others? The answer, well, it’s not easy, and will be dirty. We must not allow them to silence us, we must not allow them to control the narrative, and we must continue to fight the hypocrisy and stay true to our beliefs. HuffPo is advocating the harassment of someone simply because he supported our new President, but will defend Madonna’s right to free speech after she made a threat against the White House. You can’t reason with them, but we can fight them with their own tactics. When a celebrity goes off the deep end for something like Madonna or Ashley Judd did during their March, we need to stop buying anything that they profit from. Huffpo and their ilk will scream that the poor stars are being “attack for speaking their minds” or that they’re losing money because of evil conservatives, but they’d do that if Madonna saw someone a block away helping a Trump supporter up after that supporter was attacked.

Personally, I plan to do this, and it may get down to me listening to CD’s, reading books and only eating what I can get at my local grocery store, but I won’t patronize those who demean me any more. As for when they complain, I plan to simply reply with evidence that they’ve done or advocated what I am now doing, just aimed at a conservative, and it was acceptable, then I may record their mental implosion when faced with a “you did it, so I decided it was a fair tactic” argument.

The real question though, is are we too late to make a difference?

More hypocrisy and such to start your week

So, I got sent this today, and as I expected before I even opened it, I knew the comments would be nothing but attacks and arguments. Well, I wasn’t disappointed, as naturally, there were the “Those who thought Obama was muslim think Trump is Christian” comments, there were comments about how since “Jesus was from the middle east, he’s not allowed in” and more. One person did bring up that Christ was born in Israel, which is not on the list of countries listed in the Executive Order which was signed regarding visas and refugees. Outside of the idiots screaming that this is a “ban on muslims” while it’s not, when did we get to this point? When did the world officially accept that it’s completely OK to denigrate only one group, while forcing everyone to tell that very group they aren’t allowed to say anything deemed offensive? I’ve been told I’m racist, a bigot, a sexist, and so much more simply for disagreeing with someone over the last eight years, only to watch as those same people are losing their minds that Trump not only won in November, that the screaming about the Electoral College didn’t work, the recounts didn’t work, the moves in the House to block the confirmation didn’t work, and that he was finally inaugurated on the 20th of January. For eight years anyone who questioned Obama’s citizenship was berated, anyone who suggested the man was not a Christian was shouted down, and anyone who dared suggest that Obamacare wasn’t going to work other than to take money from people wanted to see the poor kicked into the streets so they die slowly for the GOP’s entertainment. Now, those people who demanded not only silence, but praise for their “tolerance” and “forward thinking” for eight years, have completely reversed course, and demand that we not speak out in support of a President we voted for, that we not speak for any policy, and of course, still demanding praise for their “tolerance of such hateful bigots” as they haven’t killed anyone yet.

Think back, if anyone who voted for McCain or Romney had blocked a highway after they lost, how long would it have been before either they were arrested or worse, were dead from a liberal running them over? Today, though, police actually said that protesters at some airports could block the roads for 15 of every 30 minutes. Yes, they were ALLOWED to BLOCK ALL TRAFFIC, which is completely ILLEGAL because they didn’t get their way, yet even if an Ambulance was screaming THIS MAN WILL DIE IF YOU DON’T MOVE, they’d stand their and “embrace their right to protest” until arrested for causing the man’s death, and then scream and whine in court that they have a “right” to protest.

So now my customary statement on how we got here, and simply put it’s due to an entire generation being told they get a trophy for showing up, they make the team because they want to, never having been told no, never having been told something is wrong, and now a generation of young adults believes it’s “wrong” to not hand them money because they want it, or to not give them any salary they demand, or to do everything they want. Thankfully the vast majority of them will not run for office, so while the House and Senate will have a very few of them, I hope for a day when it’s mostly people just there to do the job. When one runs for President, the meltdown when a major party won’t nominate them will be glorious, and the nuclear explosion when they aren’t elected will put the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to shame.

Sadly, Thanks to eight years of Bill, only an eight year break and much of that with a DNC Congress, then eight years of Obama and his “I have a pen and a phone” mentality when Congress didn’t bow and do everything he demanded, we’re many years from even being close to raising children who will learn math, science, english, history and so on, but not that Christians are bad, Muslims are just misunderstood, and the government is God and should be obeyed without question. I just hope we survive to see that day.

Society today in a nutshell

We’ve all heard this joke or one like it, as well as seen the meme about one group or another shoving a spike in their bike wheel then blaming who they hate. Sadly, this is all too common today, and it’s getting worse. I’ve been harangued by women for “daring” to hold a door as if they’re too weak, or for “sexism” when I am just polite. Women have gotten to the point where their first reaction is the “I have a boyfriend” to everything, as if literally every male on the planet is about to rape them, and it’s thanks in no small amount to the media harping on “rape culture.” The big question I have is not only how we got to a point where it’s now almost genetic to instantly try to vilify everyone around you, but also how we stop the trend. When a uniformed officer has the Police called on him for being in uniform in a class he’s taking, we’ve officially reached the tipping point. The very people who scream about rape culture or how all cops just want to kill people are the very ones who then scream that the Police don’t care as they didn’t get to them fast enough when they’re robbed, or that the Police (whom they called) “acted rashly” when the KNIFE WIELDING TERRORIST was shot and killed. They bemoan the “poor misunderstood refugee” who was “forced into this course of action by islamophobia running rampant.” Had Police waited, tried to talk him down, and more people been killed, I can guarantee that there would be calls for Officers to be fired, if not hanged at dawn.

These same people, who claim to be educated and intelligent, are also calling on the Electoral College Electors to vote against the will of their states. I’ve pointed out to many people that the Electoral College was put in places so that a handful of cities/counties doesn’t decide the election. Trump won almost ALL counties in NY, but due to NYC, the margin was close. He won many counties in California, but due to LA and San Fransisco (almost solely due to them) the state went to Hillary Clinton. The same people who would be calling for me to be shot had the situation been flipped are calling for me to be all but shot for standing up for the system in place. Had Trump lost the Electoral vote but won the popular vote, he said he might not accept it, and Clinton called that a “threat to democracy” only for her supporters to do that very thing. Had the roles been reversed and Electors pressured to vote for him instead of Clinton, you can bet there would be demands that the Electors be fired, no matter if that was legal, but the reason for that is the very people now screaming to be handed what they want no matter what, are the very people who’ve been given just that since childhood.

For more than 15 years, and likely more than 20, children have not been told a grade failed, or that they didn’t win the race, so as to “not hurt their feelings.” Academics are a joke, as teachers are so heavily leaned on to ensure their students do well on standardized tests, that all they teach (almost) is that very test. I started elementary school in 1984, and I don’t remember being traumatized when I was told my answers weren’t right, so I didn’t get a high grade. Nor was my life ruined when I competed and didn’t win. The problem, is that the high school students of the late 1970’s, who cared more about Woodstock, drugs and “doing their own thing” are now parents of mid to late teens, and those children have been raised “free to find their own path.” This has ruined a generation, and I can only hope not the world forever. Children need discipline in their lives, and being spanked, sent to bed without dinner, or just having toys or technology denied them will not traumatize them. The reason these special snowflakes aren’t disciplined is simple though, they’ve learned very well that by simply threatening to tell someone their parents abuse them, they get their way. Personally, were it my child threatening that after I take their phone or game away, I’d hand them the phone. Before they dialed though, I’d ensure they know that they’ll be taken away, likely put in a state home where there is no PS4 or Xbox, no cell phones, and certainly no life anywhere near what they have. Unfortunately, some of these little twits need to be allowed to report the “abuse” and be taken away and put in state homes, so they realize that being made to clean up or do their homework isn’t abuse. Maybe, just maybe, if one or two had their lives upended for “reporting abuse” they’d learn, and then be able to tell others what happened, but, sadly, they’d just blame their parents for “not stopping it” (by giving them whatever they want) and continue to cry and whine.

Unfortunately, the only way they’re going to learn is the hard way. They need to be arrested and jailed for the false hate crimes reported since Trump’s win. They need to be told to grow up when they tell their professor they don’t like having a uniformed Officer in class, and they need to be told that just because they studied 19th century women’s art done only in pink, they aren’t better than anyone else, and thus, they don’t get to dictate how the country is run. Only when they’re firmly told to grow up and then made to do so, will we even have a hope of starting the road back to where we were only 30 years ago.

Friday thoughts

In just over two weeks, it will be Christmas. That wonderful time of year when we see tantrums in stores over toys, fights over the hot item, and a general de-evolution of the human species, as they return to primates fighting over the sharp stick or last bit of food. I’ve been out shopping at midnight on Thanksgiving night twice, and will never do it again, as the first time I watched someone almost attack a Police Officer for not letting them break in line, then a year later, watching as people were almost trampled over kitchen gadgets. This year, I did take a day off (November 11th) to be up early and in line for my NES Classic, although that was just a bonus as I took the day off initially to be able to attend a basketball tournament my nephew was playing in. Even more than two weeks before Black Friday I was hard pressed to not think it was, as people were more concerned about a game than with anything else. In my first example, WalMart had a BluRay player on for $9.99 or $14.99 (I forget, it’s been a good while) and had stated well before that night, anyone who didn’t get one that night, would still get one at that price, it would just need to be when the next shipment arrived. On November 11th, I got to Target at 5:30 and they didn’t open until 8. For the first hour or so, it was me and 6 other people, one of which was there to get something else launching that day. By about 7:00, the manager came out to check the line, and found only the 7 of us, and told us the store only got six units. We were all happy, as the 7th guy only wanted the new Garth Brooks CD set. As more people showed up, we told them that they wouldn’t get one there, and that the last we heard, other stores opening later had no lines, and they thanked us and left. But, by 7:30 or so, they just stuck around, and when the manager told them the same thing we had, most started to complain, one even accusing her of hiding others so she and the other employees would get them. To me, this shows the same attitude we saw just after Super Tuesday and continue seeing today, the “I want my way, give me my way, or I’ll throw a tantrum and make life miserable for everyone” mindset.

For years we’ve heard from the more liberal people in the country that we need to be more tolerant, and more accepting of everyone’s differences, but they seem to not need to do that very thing. I’ve been told to kill myself, that someone “knows where I live and is coming” and more, for nothing more than posting an opinion. The “I know where you live” was, incredibly enough, on a very conservative site, where I and others were going back and forth about hypothetical laws. Naturally, as a Texan, I’m well armed almost all the time, and not frightened of some wacko coming over, as (like I said) I’m in Texas, and should some idiot show up intending harm, the law is on my side. But, why is it OK to scream at me I must be tolerant, then threaten my life? The simple answer, it is not! In 2000 and 2004, the left bemoaned Bush’s cabinet choices, with some even suggesting he should be required to appoint Democrats or their picks, so someone can keep an eye on him. Funny enough, that was never even mentioned in 2008 or 2012, but with a GOP House and Senate coming in, and an upcoming transition to a Trump White House, the moaning about the cabinet is back. People have called for the Democrats still in office to filibuster all appointees, which is to say, stop all work being done and just stall so there won’t be a cabinet. Thankfully, Senator Reid ended that possibility not long ago when a DNC item was filibustered.

When they aren’t bemoaning the horror that is someone actually thinking for themselves, or blocking highways in protest, they’re crying about the Electoral College. I’ve commented on several posts, explaining the E.C. as it does serve a purpose, only to be called names and insulted. Simply put, without the E.C. the cities of LA, NYC, San Fransisco and Chicaco could almost decide every election for POTUS. If you look at a map of election results by county, you’ll see a far greater amount of Red than Blue, but now that the E.C. went to Trump and the popular vote didn’t, suddenly we are told to just do away with it.

There’s a problem there though Skippy, you can’t just do away with the Electoral College. You see, it was created in the U.S. Constitution, so must be changed or done away with by a Constitutional Amendment. So, first you need to have someone call a Constitutional Convention, have enough states say OK and attend, have enough agree to the amendment and put it to the states, then enough states must ratify it. So, unfortunately for our special snowflakes, the Electoral College won’t just be going away, even if they manager to retake Congress.

So far, the world hasn’t ended, no one’s been nuked, and as far as I can tell, a high percentage of the stories about people being verbally abused or worse by Trump supporters are false, although I see more of the stories about Trump supporters being attacked being true far more often. Yes, Trump said he’s going to drain the swamp and protect our borders, which surprisingly, the vast majority of people living on the border want done. He did not, however, say he’s going to find and deport all illegal immigrants in a day. What he said is he would start by focusing on those with criminal records being being in the country illegally, those who we know are raping, assaulting, robbing and killing. Personally, after those are gone, go after the citizens doing the same and put them away for good. Send them to Sheriff Joe in AZ and put them to work. I know there are good people who came here illegally, so why not help them gain citizenship, so they earn more? Oh, can’t do that, or you’d be taking away their culture. After all, they fought to escape a horrid life, only to protest to make America just like the country they fled. America is the only, or one of a very few, country on this planet that doesn’t have an official language, or as open a border as ours. If you even try to enter Mexico illegally, and you’re lucky enough to avoid being shot, you’ll spend a LONG time in jail, but we can’t even send them back to their home country, or we’re “oppressing them.”

For those who are screaming for Sanctuary Cities or Campuses, go for it, but don’t come crying to me when the government pulls funding from your city or college. You see, it’s the law, and if you publicly help people break the law, you become an accomplice, and thus, are guilty of a crime. The University of Texas was the first to publicly start the Sanctuary Campus movement, pressuring the University PD to not help I.C.E. or other law enforcement, and if the PD does, they’ll find the Texas Rangers authority doesn’t stop at the border of the campus. Sanctuary only does one thing, embolden those that claim it. The UK has, for years, not fought the tide of Muslim immigration, and now there are signs being put up that tell citizens not to walk their dogs, because it’s not clean for Muslims. Yes, people are ordering British citizens to not use public places, and it’s not being fought. The OSU madman who used a car and a knife to attempt the murder of other students was a “refugee,” but all we’re hearing now from those at OSU is how the Police were too quick to shoot, should have listened to the idiot, or how it’s our fault because he felt he had no option due to the “Islamophobia” today. I’m sorry, but if you are attacking and trying to kill people, I’m not going to buy you a latte and ask you about your feelings, I’m going take you down as quickly as I can, and in a manner that best protects those around you. The only good in this, is that it shows that the “hands up don’t shoot” idiocy was just a line for TV, as this idiot was actively attacking people when shot, so it’s not about “innocent people of color” being killed, it’s just about attacking police. I wonder, what would happen were the police to start telling people “why don’t you try talking to them, try to understand why they’re doing this?” Or, if they said “sorry, but we can’t come out, since we’d have to kill the attacker, and you don’t want us rushing to judgement do you?” Naturally, the narrative would flip and become “Police don’t care about those they are paid to protect” from the current one.

The simple truth is this. The world isn’t fair, and won’t be as long as we wait on the second coming of Christ. Trump won’t end the world, nor will the GOP controlled Congress and Senate. In fact, you’ll likely see taxes go down, the economy get better, and in general, life will just go on as it always has. Personally, I’m waiting to see how the news spins it when the country is either better off, or at least, not in the sewer, in four years. We hear nothing but how Trump is going to destroy the country, but in 4 years, when we’re better off, what will they say? But that’s enough ranting from me, what do you say?

More of the same, I wish I could find other news but can’t

First, it seems that in order to prove the sanctions the U.S. must renew before 1/1 when they expire are unnecessary, Iran has threatened the U.S. Yes, you read that right. Iran wants to become a nuclear power, we’ve seen statements from them as well as other nations in the middle east about wanting to wipe Israel from the map, and so on, so the U.S. imposed sanctions on them, due to their history of trying to kill people en masse. Well, they’ve now told the sitting President of the United States he “must” let them expire, or they will have a “prompt response.” If this isn’t proof that the sanctions are needed, although I’d say a team of S.E.A.L.S. could handle the problem much better, I don’t know what is going to have to happen.

After all the hype and moaning about how the refugees are “women and children fleeing oppression” and the world telling the U.S. what we should do, we have more proof that is not the case. It seems that in addition to the skyrocketing rate of rape and other assault in places, we now have a high ranking EU Official’s daughter raped and murdered by a “refugee.” Naturally, he’s staying quiet, likely hoping that if he plays the “I didn’t know it was wrong” card, saying “that’s how it works in my country, she enticed me” or some other BS, he’ll get let go. You know, only 39 years ago, France was still using the guillotine, maybe if we brought that back, and coated the blade with bacon grease, we could curb this?

All I’ll say to this is REALLY, YOU THINK CALLING ALMOST 50% OF THE COUNTRY DEPLORABLE ALIENATED THEM? Sorry, but when you have a member of the Democratic Party at the national level who only says this after the candidate loses, I think it shows that they have zero clue any more.

Before you react to this story, just read it. The rules “on the block” as it were include the EPA fining companies for not buying and using fuel that DOES NOT EXIST, and preventing them from taking over all (possible) waterways, including drainage ditches in communities. This is not Trump shutting the EPA down and letting the environment rot, this is a needed culling of useless rules and people who have too much power, and still want more.

Finally, more proof that the idiocy of participation trophies, no failing grades, no red ink, and making sure no one gets their feelings hurt is shown yet again. It seems that students at American University want someone fired because he met with President Elect Trump, apparently regarding a possible cabinet position. Now, of course they’re citing racism, sexism, hatred, and more, but what they don’t want to address is that while, yes, many are “big money insiders” they are people who know the position. General Mattis is tapped for SecDef, and is perfect for it, while secretary of agriculture should be someone who has (gasp) actually worked in that field, and so on, but no, it’s just “he’s not my president, so you should be fired because I don’t like him” and on and on and on. I can guarantee that had Clinton won and a single person suggested this, that person would be all but executed at dawn for “daring to speak against the President Elect.” But hey, the special snowflakes likely finished their coloring books and let their play dough dry up, so now they don’t have anything to do, like STUDY THEIR COURSE WORK, right?

Anyway, enough from me, what do you think?

The truth is much stranger than fiction

It’s been said that art imitates society and that the truth is stranger than fiction, but today those are being taken to the extreme. Four and eight years ago, when Barack Obama won the election for President of the United States, a large percentage of the country was upset, as they did not vote for him. Yet, did we see riots in the streets, people attacked and killed over their vote for him, or other threats made? No, we did not. By and large, those who voted for McCain and Romney went about their lives, going to work, paying their bills, and just hoping for a candidate that could eventually represent them. Just a few weeks ago, that happened, yet those who voted for Hillary Clinton won’t accept that. I recently saw a post that said the Cubs were being forced to give up their World Series win, as the Indians had scored just as many points over the series, so they felt they should be co-winners. This, naturally, is a joke, but it is very close to the claims being made by the Clinton camp. In 2000, when Gore was defeated, there were calls to end the Electoral College, and those are being made again this year. What no one seems to understand, or care about, is that you can’t just do that.

The Electoral College is part of what the 12th Amendment encompasses and thus, cannot be changed or removed without another amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Contrary to what those who are now screaming would have you believe, this cannot be done by Congress, but must happen at a Constitutional Convention. If any of them can get their representative to call for a Convention, and if enough states agree to it, and if the amendment is passed, and then if enough states ratify it, GREAT! That’s the legal and proper way to do it, but demanding that it “just be done,” well, that’s nothing more than a toddler having a fit that they didn’t get their way.

Much like those above, there are also celebrities promising to leave the country forever if Trump was elected. Now that he has been, and their attempts to scare or threaten people into changing that have failed, they’re still here. So far, of all of them, only a very young star, Miley Cyrus, has said anything about it. In her tearful video, she admits she’s very upset, but at the end, says she accepts the election, and accepts Trump as President. I’ll be the first to admit, that if Sam Jackson leaves the country, it will be very hard to continue with many Marvel Studios properties, as he virtually is Nick Fury, but to have someone tell the country “do what I want or I’ll take my ball and leave” is not how things work here. That’s a playground tactic from elementary school, for a child not picked for a game.

But, that’s enough from me, what do you think?

You can’t make this up!

When BLM decided that police defending themselves from attack was “murder” the media ran with it, and suddenly, all cops were hiding in the shadows waiting for innocent black children to shoot. But, with Trump now our President Elect, we now see riots in the street being called free expression. In Austin of all places, protesters from the “Red Guard,” assaulted others, then claimed that their friend’s arrest was the assault. Naturally, they ignore that they were taking part in a riot (not a “protest” as so many scream they are,) and had assaulted others, and likely tried to assault police. We NEED to stop this. No one from the Trump side is attacking anyone, yet those upset at the system are attacking others, destroying property, and worse. Yes, there are idiots saying stupid things to others, and I want that to stop too, but saying something stupid that they have zero power to back up, and hurting others or destroying property ARE NOT THE SAME THING!

Honestly, the idiot should have seen this one coming. This is NOT A JOKE PEOPLE! Nor is saying you’re going to harm or kill ANYONE. I’m a fairly big guy, and I’ve had some training in fighting/self defense, as I’ve had a few rough jobs. In a fight, if someone says “I’m gonna kill you,” I change mental gears from restrain, to incapacitate. Normally, I go for a hold until they calm down or the Police arrive, in the second scenario, I go for the knock out blow! Why, that person just said, serious or not, that they intend to end my life! In the case of President Elect Trump, THAT IS A FEDERAL CRIME! This idiot not only said what he did, he did so online, where nothing goes away! Naturally, it was “said in jest” or “a product of his profound disappointment affecting his judgement,” and not him doing something stupid. I wonder what he’ll say when he’s arrested by the Secret Service, as merely saying what he did is a crime, and he should go to jail, for a long time.

This one is a bit different. Personally, I would not have tweeted what Scott did but I’m not him, nor do I work where I am inundated with stories about how “black people are hunted by racist cops,” or how “Hillary is struggling to leave her house” and other idiocy, but to respond, to someone who lives in a city hit by the anthrax scare several times, with an envelope containing something unknown, is just stupid! What the worst part of all of this is, and it’s not even sad any more, is that students today are being taught that “free speech” means they can say LITERALLY ANYTHING and face no consequences. When a COLLEGE PROFESSOR goes off about the “injustice” of being forced through a psychological evaluation (rather than arrest) after tweeting that he’s going to buy a firearm and kill random people, and he then rants that “free speech is under attack” they don’t see that saying you want to MURDER OTHER PEOPLE is wrong any more. What’s actually worse than this idiot ranting so horribly he’s taken for a psychological evaluation, is that he’s teaching students and they’re seeing his rant as “free speech” and his superiors’ perfectly expected reaction as “censorship.” All the while, they demand safe spaces where they aren’t “traumatized” by people not agreeing with them, demand the expulsion or termination of people who do so, and are “threatened” by someone writing Trump 2016 on the sidewalk in chalk. Is it any wonder that so few of them can find work outside of teaching what they just finished learning? They spend four years in college, ranting about the “evil white man” and when they graduate, all they know how to do is return and teach how evil white men are. We’re very close to a tipping point people, which way we go is anyone’s guess, but we will soon reach a time when a millennial will sue someone for “denying their right to this or that” or just outright demand someone support them because they “have a right” to this or that, and no expectation of work. I won’t be surprised at all when one of them screams that “Christians are supposed to help others, why won’t you buy me a house and a car, I need your help!” Then, they’ll be horribly confused by either the silence, or the wave of “I will feed and clothe you, I will help you find work, but I am not going to give you everything you demand and let you continue to be a drain on everyone around you.” If they even listen, I expect a lawsuit for something like defamation of character for calling them a drain, WHEN THEY ARE ONE, but hey, what do I know? I’m just an evil white male, part of the patriarchy, who “wants” to work, so that should be my reward, while I should be happy to give everything to someone who “doesn’t feel they should be forced to work, just to get money.”

A common theme today, how do we change it though?

For a week now, we’ve seen and heard whining, crying and loud screams that “Hillary won the popular vote, she should be President.” Some are demanding that the Electoral College just ignore the election and hand the position to Hillary, while others riot and destroy property. All of this, however, comes down to one simple fact, NONE of the idiots understand, or care to understand, how our government is set up and how to legally change it. A great example, oddly enough, is Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

Apparently, Evans just wants to “make it go away” despite the Electoral College being part of a Constitutional Amendment, meaning only changing the Constitution will be legal. If he’s able to convince someone to call a Constitutional Convention, and then if enough states vote for repealing the 12th Amendment, and enough states ratify that, then it’s done. But you can’t just “get rid” of something that is part of the Constitution. But, then again, that’s never stopped people from trying has it? Hillary and Bernie both promised to “make gun control happen” with many others saying the President should use “any means necessary” to get guns off the streets. To them, this means making it illegal for someone like me to own firearms, because I’m in the group they can find, that being legal owners who use their weapons for sport, hunting, or protection only. But, then again, until we’re completely beholden to the government for 100% of our lives, they won’t be the gods they want to be will they?

Moving on, we see more “tolerance” and “understanding” even if it’s presented as a joke.

Yes, this is a “joke” showing Michele Obama holding a sign saying an immigrant is taking her job. But, considering that the left has been SCREAMING for years that “undocumented” immigrants are people and deserve the opportunity to make their lives better, why is this funny? I’m regularly called a bigot, racist, sexist, homophobe, and so on, because I want logic to return to not only government, but also daily life. When I point out that entering Mexico illegally, then demanding health care, a driver’s license, and so on, would result in me vanishing into a jail and never being heard from again, well, logic flies out the window and suddenly I want to kill all Mexicans rather than admit they’re human. When I point out that the Bill of Rights never mentions gender, sexual orientation, or even the word marriage, I’m trying to “publicly shame” the LGBT community and want them to fear persecution. Never mind that while an Oregon bakery was forced to close after they turned away a customer who wanted a cake for a wedding for two women, and that a bakery owned by a gay couple not only turned away a custom who wanted a cake for a Priest’s birthday, but also lied and said the man ordered a cake that supported violence against homosexuals, it’s all about “rights.” So, the next time you pick up a newspaper, or go to the firing range, or remember the Cops can’t just search your car whenever they want, remember that “rights” also means that a gay couple has a right to force a private business to do something against their religion, and a gay baker can turn away anyone they want.

Finally, where are we headed now that we know how the world views rights and such? Well, we’re headed further down the path of being sued for offending someone, or by someone who broke into your home and slipped. An episode of Supergirl last season shows this attitude perfectly.

Now, I know this is just a TV show, and it’s over-dramatic so as to make for good TV, but it’s not really that far off. In that scene, two idiots are slamming into each other, at high speed, headed for a group of children. When Supergirl stops them, the one we see get out of his car is upset “she totaled car” and ignores her “you almost totaled these kids.” He then, rather stupidly, tries to hit her, and she easily stops him, and puts him in a classic PD hold. He’s not injured, and likely only in discomfort, and not actual pain, but people instantly start to get mad at her for “hurting him” or “abusing her powers.” So, here’s the question, why the attitude of “I can do whatever I want, I cannot be held responsible for anything I do, and if you stop me from hurting someone else, you’re the bad guy?” It’s been growing since the mid to late 1990’s, and now has reached the point where people destroy businesses and cars, and attack people, simply because their candidate lost an election. Add to this, Trump, on 60 Minutes, flat out said to stop it, but Hillary has been silent about the riots after she didn’t get elected. We need a swift return to logic and rational thoughts, and sadly, the only real way is to just step in and force a change. Universities that offer “safe spaces” where students are given snacks, coloring books, play-do or Lego, because they need to “recover from the trauma” of their candidate not winning, well, they need to see a swift decline in enrollment, and donations dry up. If they’re a state school, then they need to be investigated and possibly have state money withdrawn for not using it to TEACH COLLEGE CLASSES! People rioting, destroying property and attacking others, simply, NEED TO BE ARRESTED, CHARGED, TRIED AND JAILED FOR THEIR CRIMES! They’ll bitch and moan in court that they’re “just expressing their feelings,” and they’ll ignore the question about what they’d do if someone destroyed their business or car, or harmed them physically while “expressing their feelings,” because naturally, they can do whatever they want, and you can only do what they tell you to. It’s the same issue as when you ask them “what would you say if Hillary had won and Trump supporters were rioting, burning businesses and cars, and so on?” They give you a blank look, or worse, tell you “that wouldn’t happen because Hillary should have won.” They firmly believe they have a right to destroy what isn’t theirs, to attack people, and also that had the election gone the other way, everyone would be happy. This is no longer a willful mindset, but a mental disease! They’re incapable of even considering others, they firmly believe that they have a right to destroy what isn’t theirs, and all because, in this case, the election didn’t go their way. When you point out that, just because they’re mad, they can’t just “make the electoral college go away,” you’re suddenly “attacking them,” or “denying their rights.” George Washington and Thomas Jefferson could rise from the grave, hand out cookies and milk, then say that same thing, and it would be a “right wing plot to silence and subjugate the country.”

Can you see why I weep for the future?

More of the same from the “tolerant” left

Imagine just what the outcry would be had this happened in 2008. What if the Bush White House had said Obama seemed surprised at the scope of the job, or that he didn’t know all positions would need to be replaced, only to have proof his people had posted listings of all jobs before the meeting. Naturally, it would be the “evil, racist GOP, just trying to make Obama look bad.” But, when Obama does it, it’s “an oversight” or “he didn’t understand” what Trump was saying and mistook him. The only thing worse that this happening is that it’s being swept under the rug and ignored by the vast majority of the media. When it’s pointed out as blatantly false, they just shrug and talk about something else. Not a peep about how they were wrong, and if people keep talking about it, they’re “trying to harm Obama’s administration by spreading lies.” So sorry folks, but I am not going to stay quiet, and I’m not saying this because Obama is black, but because he is a horrible President, but then again, I’m white, so instantly, I’m racist and have been from birth, and will be no matter what I do. When will we start demanding the media stop pandering to the DNC?

Next, what if this had been said during the Katrina aftermath about the people in New Orleans? The person saying it would be lynched at dawn, but when Symone Sanders said “Oh my goodness, poor white people” in response to being asked about a man PULLED FROM HIS CAR AND BEATEN, it’s ignored. These are NOT protests, they’re violent riots, destroying property and hurting people. Why is it these are called “protests” and people who calmly and peacefully protest against planned parenthood are “bigots who are trying to kill women?” The simple answer, it doesn’t fit the narrative of “the people wanted Hillary and are just expressing their grief.” The DNC is going to hide this all and paint everything as the GOP’s fault, and of course the “racist, sexist, homophobic, Trump supporters,” in an effort to get people on board the “give it to Hillary” movement. What’s going to happen when people are arrested and charged with assault, or worse? How long before the ACLU shows up to “defend the distraught citizens?”

Finally, another celeb seems hell bent on destroying her career, and she’ll no doubt blame everyone but herself for it. It seems Wanda Sykes decided to go on a political rant during her show, and was booed by the crowd. Did she change gears and go on with something else? No, she began insulting the crowd, then gave the crowd the middle finger and left. I wonder what the response will be when someone demands a refund? Will they be “publicly outed as a racist” or will the refund for a comedy show that was not at all that, be given? I guess we’ll see, but until people finally wake up and start “voting with their wallet,” meaning DON’T SPEND MONEY TO SEE PEOPLE WHO DO THIS, we won’t see any change. Comedians will use shows where people pay to laugh as a political pulpit, and if people complain, well, they’re just stupid and should be treated as such.

But, enough from me, what do you say?

It wouldn’t be a Monday without wanting to slap people

To start off, it seems that SNL is dead set to follow Hillary into obscurity. After the election, and while countless liberals run for their safe spaces, tweet their disbelief, or demand America just give them what they want, SNL had Kate McKinnon singing the late Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and crying. I never knew much about Cohen, but from the response, I’d guess he wouldn’t like his music associated with a criminal not getting what she wants. I remember growing up in the 1980’s and loving SNL. Even as the shift to the left started, and we saw far more raunchy jokes, digs at the GOP outweigh even an unkind word about the DNC, it was still funny. Now though, it’s just like the rest of NBC, CNN and so many other networks, an open shill for Hillary and the rest of the DNC. While I can hope their ratings will show that people don’t agree, I’m not holding my breath, as I really don’t want to see SNL end, just go back to comedy for comedy’s sake, and leave politics to the news pundits.

Moving on, if you thought we were rid of Michael Dukakis in 1988, you’d be wrong. Now, he’s declaring war on the Electoral College. Unlike many of the others doing this, at least he’s demanding it be undone legally, rather than the many people tweeting or just screaming for the Electors to go against the results and just hand the White House to Hillary. Funny isn’t it, that when their candidate wins, it’s “they won, it’s how the system works” but when they lose, it’s time to demand people just do as they say, change everything, tear down the “broken system.” I’m not going to try to claim I didn’t take to my blog, or Facebook, or another medium to express my “displeasure” with either of Obama’s wins, as I firmly believe the man to be seeking the destruction of the United States. Ignoring that I believe him to not be a Natural Born citizen, we have quotes from him that he wants to “fundamentally change” the country, while Michelle is on record as saying that during his time in office was the first time she was proud of America. She’s not a young girl, so that literally means that until she became First Lady, she was never proud to be an American. I’m not going to even suggest that Trump is perfect or blameless in his life, but he is far more American that Obama will ever be. As for the Electoral College, I’m going to give you a short description of this institution. Most people see the map showing the states and see that California went blue, but it didn’t. LA and San Fransisco, and the very few other cities that are extremely densely populated turned the state blue. Yes, a handful of cities/counties are able to control the rest of the state’s vote. What this means, is that if you look at the map by county, the country is far more red than blue. Yes, there are more people that voted for Hillary, but this is the point of the Electoral College, it prevents a population center from controlling more than their state. Yes, there are writings from the founders that hint that they didn’t trust the average voter, and set up the E.C., and yes, it may be time to end that institution, but do it legally. This would be a change to the Constitution, which requires a Constitutional Convention. This, like the Second Amendment, can’t “just be changed” because someone doesn’t like them. This is one of the reasons Hillary did so horribly in some states, as people are very much going to protect their rights, and she flat out said she’d use an Executive Order with regards to the Second Amendment. In layman’s terms, she said she’d just issue an order to make owning guns far more difficult, if not illegal, for private citizens. Let’s put that another way. Let’s say that a candidate said they’d use Executive Orders to “fix” the First Amendment. Would you be upset that they want to remove your right to free speech, or assembly, or to force the press to report as the government dictates (openly, as opposed to CNN and the others that march to the DNC’s tune?) So, put that way, much like the Second, it can’t “just be changed” or done away with. If you are that serious about it, call for a Constitutional Convention, get the States there, and DO IT RIGHT!

Finally, is anyone surprised that Sweden is blaming gender equality for a massive SNAFU after their first big snow of the year. Recently, a policy (law?) requires sidewalks to be cleared before roads, to allow for “gender equality” because women walk more, and men are “over represented” among drivers. Naturally, this caused a massive problem, as no one could drive, so businesses and schools were closed, greatly impacting everyone. Naturally, it’s not because the roads were to be cleared last, it’s “a lack of gender-equality” in snow clearing that caused it. Now, I’m all for treating women and men equally, but I have to call this what it is, an act of complete idiocy. If a snow storm is bad enough that, when the roads aren’t cleared, no one can drive, is anyone really going to go out other than in their car? I realize I’m just a dumb Texan, and our “cold” is a warm summer day to someone in Stockholm in the winter, but this just seems to make sense. First clear the roads, and if you must, send out the walkway clearing crews right behind them, because guess what, THEY HAVE TO GET THEIR TO CLEAR THEM! Yes, I know the world isn’t perfect, and yes, discrimination still happens, be it based on race, sex, or any of a number of things people are biased about. But, to institute policies like this is just insane! We’ve seen this in other places, where policies are put in place to “ensure equality” only to have them cause far more problems, or be attacked just as vehemently. The true solution is to just ignore the whiners until they go away or grow up. A good example of this is a company I worked for in 2003/2004, and their hiring policy. The application has no mention of sex, gender, race, religion, etc, and any applicant that lists any of those items anywhere else is summarily rejected. The next two rounds (interviews) are entirely automated, and not only don’t mention race/sex/gender/religion/etc, in these, it’s impossible to list them as the “interviews” are done via a touch tone phone. Only in round 4 (application, interview, interview, round 4) are your race/gender/sex known, as only then do you meet someone in person. Even with this in place, they’ve been sued for not hiring someone because they’re black, or female, or gay, or what have you. Granted, they win each time, because they can show that those people were never interviewed by a person, but filtered out by the automated system. Much like the people in Missouri screaming that the Fire Department test is racist because they failed it, ignoring that very few people pass that test. I’m sorry, but we have to stop pandering to these people and doing stupid stuff like Sweden did, or we’re just going to see the world collapse and anarchy will take over. But, what do I know, I’m only a History Teacher from Texas, I didn’t get a Masters in Women’s Studies from Berkley, so I don’t know anything about politics, do I?

Enough from me, what do you think?

America after Tuesday, and so far nothing has blown up

Tuesday night saw something happen that a great many people are still in shock over. Hillary Clinton was not elected President of the United States, Donald Trump was. Within hours there were videos from tearful celebrities bemoaning the tragedy, or youtubers screaming they were going to kill themselves, or saying they were having a heart attack. Today, students are shown on video being consoled, having had classes cancelled because their candidate not being selected is traumatic. I hate to think about them later in life, when they don’t get the job they “deserve” or when they are forced to pay bills, or the like. We’ve seen tweets demanding people beg their states Electors to change their vote, which had the situation been reversed, they’d be screaming that “Hillary won the Electoral College, let it go, you lost.” There are people repeating “she won the popular vote” just as we saw in 2000, but they quickly forget that they would be the first to demand someone be arrested and made to publicly flog themselves and apologize, for doing the same thing.

Yes, there have been incidents where “Trump supporters,” and put that in quotation marks because anyone acting like this will be listed as one, regardless of who they did or would have voted for, of people being told they’ll be deported, or the like, and that is not acceptable to me. President Elect Trump NEVER said he would deport all immigrants, nor did he saw he would look at Citizens or legal residents of Hispanic or Muslim heritage in that way. What he said is he intends to work to stop ILLEGAL immigration, and to deport those here ILLEGALLY. Naturally, this doesn’t fit the “he’s a horrible, racist, sexist, pig” narrative, so the media spins it however they want, and of course, the left laps it up. What upsets me a bit is how the incidents of idiots displaying their racism or another quality that should be kept hidden are all over the news, but the complete silence about the “open letters” all but ordering people to vote for Hillary, or the many celebs who threatened to leave if he won. If you want a better America, start with the media, until they’re at least forced to just be honest, let alone stop the DNC bias, we will continue down this horrifying path. Oh, and just as we’ve seen since before the primaries, those “outraged citizens” protesting, well, they may not be what they seem. Click here for story

Where do we go from here? Honestly, we go on as we have for the last 8 years. The media is trying to spin this as the world is ending, we’re all headed for Auschwitz or Buchenwald, and Trump will be the second coming of Hitler, which is not true. For most of the day to day things each of us face, nothing will change. We are not going to see troops in our streets, dragging people off to be deported. The celebrities who swore they’d leave the country forever if he won will stay and keep making millions from the very people they insult by saying that, and life will go on. No, Gay Marriage will not become a crime worthy of being hanged at dawn, and the ACA won’t just go POOF and vanish. I honestly hope that we get a new SCOTUS Justice who will not try to legislate from the bench, but truly will just interpret the law, and rule on if that law is Constitutional or not, but we can’t say for sure until that person is in place. As for the ACA, as many people as are covered, it won’t be just yanked away, but I do hope the requirement to select a plan or be heavily fined will be removed. Before you get up in arms over “everyone should be covered,” consider this. My mother was made to select an ACA plan until her Medicare benefits kicked in last year. So, she selected one, and started looking for a Doctor. Guess what, NO DOCTOR WITHIN 100 MILES WOULD TAKE HER. So, she’s legally required to have that plan, to pay for, AND IT’S COMPLETELY USELESS! Sure, have a marketplace where people can get health care that they otherwise couldn’t, but requiring it, when not everyone can use those plans is theft, pure and simple.

Hillary will not be arrested and jailed, and honestly, I don’t think the FBI will really try too hard to continue the investigation. Personally, I think they should, because she broke the law and badly mishandled confidential information. WikiLeaks has never (so far) released false information, the media didn’t like that Hillary was being shown to be far more unfit that we ever thought, but we’re told it shouldn’t matter, and to focus on how bad Trump is because he saw something mean more than a decade ago. Are you seeing the real problem yet? It’s not the DNC or GOP, they’ve been the way they are for decades, and although we need to fix this and I say we need to get rid of parties all together, the real problem is the media. We’ve known for a while that many of the networks are owned by a very few corporations, and thus, despite the appearance of being independent, they’re all told what to do by the same person. The Clintons are also heavily connected to News Corp, so is it any surprise that they’d paint her as the second coming of Christ and Trump as worse than the devil?

No, he isn’t out to get the LGBT community, no he isn’t out to get the Mexicans or Muslims. What he is, is a man who wants to help American Citizens, which means ILLEGAL immigration must be stopped, and LEGAL immigration encouraged. He likely will weigh in on the bathroom issue, and he’ll be attacked for “forcing innocent teens into danger,” because he will most likely come down on the same side that I personally stand on. Just because you “identify” as a man or as a woman, does not change the fact that biologically you’re not. Restrooms and Locker Rooms are not a place for someone of one sex to be around those of the other. The media is going to have a sad, likely shaking teen on camera saying they don’t feel like they should go to the restroom because they’re really not a girl, or the like. Sadly, what this does, is open the world up to have people “identify” as a girl, just to use the ladies room, and there WILL be attacks and rapes. Naturally, that person will be a horrible person, a monster, but they’ll also be a “social warrior trying to undo progress by making things look dangerous when they really aren’t.” We saw from the beginning that this wasn’t about equality or people feeling uncomfortable or unsafe using the restroom for their sex, it was about forcing others to bend and cave. Schools first offered gender neutral bathrooms, single occupant bathrooms to be exact, and that was shot down as “forcing them to be outed by using them.” When it started to become obvious that parents cared enough about their children to fight them on this, they changed tactics. We soon saw school boards meeting in secret to just make it happen, but of course, that didn’t last. Students were told to not tell their parents, so of course some did, and parents were outraged, as they should be. Next, the President sent a letter of “advice” with thinly veiled threats about federal funding. So, this was never about “making sure students felt safe,” it was about forcing the vast majority of the U.S. to cave and bow to the will of a HUGE minority.

I’ve ranted and rambled here for long enough, but I can’t sit and watch as I, and people I count friends are branded bigots or racists or sexists, simply because we didn’t bend over and do what people demanded we do. We, just like every other voter, voted for the candidate we felt we should vote for. Yes, there have been cries to end the Electoral College, or to call your E.C. representative and beg them to vote Hillary despite the results. Remember, had Hillary won and these things happened, the people saying that would be decried as hateful, bad losers, and so on. We are not going to see the Electoral College just go away, that is something that will take a MASSIVE amount of work. Just as Hillary was blowing smoke or promising something horribly un-Constitutional when she promised to “make gun control happen.” We have the Constitution for a reason, and that reason is to ensure that the people elected to serve aren’t able to just make things happen. It’s worked for 240 years, but naturally, when the left sees that screaming about “the children” or ranting that “guns are evil” doesn’t magically mean that all firearms are just POOF gone, they suddenly don’t care about the process, but when I suggest that the ACA is horribly flawed and must be done away with and something else put in its place, I get the “it’s law, you can’t just get rid of it, there’s a process.” You can’t have it both ways, you can’t say the Electoral College should be respected when you win, and should be gone when you lose. You can’t just make things happen that you want, and then use “the process” to protect things you want kept.

We need maturity at all levels, from the student to the President, and until that happens, we’re going to see the situation get FAR WORSE, and may not get better after that. Hillary, Obama and Trump have all called for America to come together, yet we still hear about riots, about people blocking highways, because their candidate didn’t win. I have no doubt that had Hillary won, and I simply stood somewhere with a “Pray for America, we need it more now” sign, I’d likely be attacked or worse, but when she loses, her supporters have a “right” to “express themselves” by BLOCKING TRAFFIC AND DEFACING BUILDINGS. This is precisely what safe spaces and trigger warnings have gotten us. Students are “traumatized” by seeing Trump 2016 written in chalk on a sidewalk, but when that happens, they’re “exercising their rights” when they break the law. They’re so traumatized by their candidate losing that they threaten to kill themselves. How will they ever survive the real world? Unless they stay in school forever, or get all the way to PhD and start teaching their useless topic, they are in for a rude awakening when they can’t call in to work because the mean man won the election, they can’t go home early from work because they saw a t-shirt for the other candidate on lunch. Meetings don’t come with trigger warnings, and when they complain to HR about their boss being “abusive” when he gives a warning about constant tardiness.

We’re in for a major shift in the world folks, and while we’ve got 4 years to try to reverse the trend, I don’t see much chance, and I am scared of what will happen when these special snowflakes get back into power. They will of course tell you (loudly and repeatedly) that they’re going to make sure everyone is equal, until in power, when white males are told to get out, and others who aren’t white males, but who disagree with the special flower people are told to follow. We’re on the downhill slope, the only question is do we walk, run, or slide down?

The “dinner dictator.”

Just a short one for tonight, but Dominos latest commercial isn’t just a cute way to show they have more than pizza, but actually shows a huge problem in society today. To sum up, a mother is about to order Dominos, when a teen says “no, I want salad, so we’re getting salad, right?” Smiling all the time, this teen is portrayed as a dictator, meaning that she’s not told no. I’m only 39, but had I done this as a teen, I not only would have been told no, but would have been sent to bed early without dinner. What a sad world we live in when teens believe they can boss their parents around, but what do you expect from a world where children sue their parents or report them for “abuse” such as having to eat vegetables, or do chores, or the like.

Time for a rant, and just in time for the 90 minute rant vs counter-rant on TV tonight!

I’ve not posted in a while, mostly because it seems that no matter what day or week it is, the news is the same every day. This group is racist, that group is being held down because they can’t make as much as a burger flipper as an engineer, or some other BS is under a banner headline.

A prime example of this is how the media either focuses on or hides the race of an officer who is involved in a shooting, but only when the person shot is black. They ignore the fact that black men, while still a minority in most places, commit most of the crime, and are responsible for a VAST majority of the violence against other black people. They ignore that in virtually all cases, the person shot had a firearm, was not obeying lawful orders, and in many cases, was shot to prevent them shooting someone else. But let’s not let pesky little things like facts get in the way, after all, since all white people are racist, it’s only natural that black men would be inclined to brandish a weapon at them, call them horrible things, and try to kill them, and defending yourself just proves you’re a vile bigot who deserves to die.

On the other side of this issue, as a city is destroyed by riots, suggesting that those who are rioting hate white people is apparently worse than the actual riots. Nevermind that the very people burning and looting have called all white people f&&&ing devils, and have called for people to be attacked and/or killed, simple because they’re white, to actually say that they hate white people (thus pointing out that the people playing the race card are in fact racist,) is just wrong, and means you should quit your job, but keep giving money to the “poor downtrodden masses” (who will hate you, attack you and worse) since you’re a vile racist.

While American cities burn, and anyone who dares not support the “enlightened and wonderful vision the DNC has for America” is all but crucified, Hillary is worried about looking smaller than Trump, so has a special podium for the debate tonight. Now, I’ll give this one a chance to be satire, but I’m not holding out much hope. Hillary has shown time and again she cares nothing for anyone but herself. She’s watched as Bill groped and worse, sat idle as Americans died, then asked “what difference does it make” when confronted, broken the law (the e-mail thing,) and she’s still living the high life, while telling people barely able to buy groceries about how horrible we are for not wanting to let her take more of our money.

Moving on to international news, it seems that sexual assaults have doubled at Oktoberfest this year. Now, rather than accepting that it’s because Germany imported MASSIVE numbers of “refugees” that amazingly aren’t all women an children, they’re saying it’s because people are reporting what they see more often, not because the “refugees” are rapists and worse.

Next, two from Clients from Hell. First, this gem is just amazing in that it’s adults and not kindergarten students. Now, I’ll be the first to say that CFH is a weekly reminder of why I’m so glad I’m no longer in photography or web design as a profession. This one, though, is a very common thing today. The client provided all the instructions, then when they complain, it’s pointed out that they picked everything they don’t like. So, when it’s pointed out that if they don’t like what they picked, they just pick something else, it’s still somehow the contractor’s fault, so they can tell them “I don’t like you” or worse.

Just like the one above, we have another great example of the “I’m always right” mindset. Simply put, the client contacts a translator for translation into two languages. They’re told it’s $1000 for one language or $1800 for both, to which they reply, several times, asking how much for both. When the translator gives the same answer, they’re still not polite, but ask for the work to be done, in under 24 hours, to which they’re told it can’t be done. They come back well after that deadline is gone and offer an insultingly low rate for the work, and are told no again. They try the “you’re losing money” bit, but are told no. Finally, they find someone willing to work for their low offer, and the results are horrible, as the “translator” just used Google Translate. When they come back demanding the first translator fix it, and are told no, well, I won’t spoil it totally, but I can easily see this person suing a bakery for not taking their money, as we’ve seen before.

These always piss me off a little, as if you asked them why they aren’t offended for the guy, they attack you for being sexist. Eve said she didn’t feel exploited by the scene, but that’s just a cue for the SJW’s to say she’s “brainwashed” or the like, but they’re silent when a man is nude on camera, and if you dare point out their blatant hypocrisy, well, you’re a sexist and thus, open to be assaulted and you can’t fight back or walk away, or you’re “denying their rights.”

Simple question here, why wasn’t the United Way sued for wrongful death when their stunt caused the death of two people? I’m actually very curious, as the CG stated the balloons were why they had to stop, and they know who released them.

and

These are just sad. First, an octopus has predicted sports, apparently, with 100% accuracy, so when fans hear it predicted their team won’t win, they threaten to kill it? How sad their lives must be.

The second just shows how far we’ve gone on the path to hell, a man killed someone not directly responsible for his family dying, and goes home as a hero? I’m sorry for his loss, and I understand being angry, but he committed cold blooded murder, and was thus, given a high position in his government? Sorry, but no, he should be given the death penalty. But, this is also a world where people actually believe having to defend your life with deadly force is the same as murder (yes, people do,) I’m not shocked. I’ve actually heard people say they’d “rather watch their children raped and murdered than to disappoint them by becoming a murderer just to save their lives.” Yes, they believe it’s better to let someone RAPE, TORTURE AND KILL A CHILD, than to use a gun. And sadly, these are the people who right now, are a majority in many states, and influencing laws. WHEN something happens, they’ll either sue the police for not having teleportation abilities, and thus “being too late,” or the person who saves them, for “bringing a deadly weapon into their home.” It’s only a matter of time before we have entire sections of cities where police won’t go, and where crime is worse the slums of NYC during prohibition, and they’ll bemoan the “evil gun nuts aren’t willing to let them ban guns, so the criminals still have guns.” If you don’t believe me, look up some of our elected officals’ quotes, they actually believe that if the legal gun owners would just give up their guns, the criminals would stop.

While I’m glad people are getting this message out, it’s being misused. Students are now reporting “harassment” when they see Trump 2016 on the sidewalk, are reporting “hate speech” in class when their history book points out that slavery wasn’t purely a white American thing. While they gleefully silence anyone who they don’t like, they’ll scream about their “right to free speech” as they take others’ rights away. I can only hope they grow up one day, or we’ll have the equivalent of a toddler day care in DC one day, with people yelling “shut up, you can’t talk to me any more” and the like in Congress.

Well, enough ranting for now, what’s on your mind?

Once again, it’s about ignoring what was said, by those you don’t like

The Republican National Convention is over, and while the dust settles, we’re getting endless commentaries on how “horrible” and “ignorant” the voters were to pick Trump, then how “amazingly wonderful” the DNC voters were to pick Hillary, just nothing on the fact that she’s abused power, would be in jail were she not Hillary Clinton, and so much more. Well, just as we saw with Piers Morgan not long ago, John Oliver has decided to educate America as to why we’re all idiots.

Now, I couldn’t finish the video as I could tell I was getting angry, and I don’t like stress like that, so every point isn’t covered, nor are these in any specific order. To start off, just as has happened since she gave the speech, Melania’s “plagiarism” is hot news. Never mind that Michelle took much of her speech from Saul Alinski, or that the “plagiarized” bits were things many people might say (talk about their childhood, their parents, their ethics, etc) but when Melania even sounds like something she said might be close to something Michelle said, she’s “stealing the speech.” Not long after that hype started though, a photo started making the rounds pointing out that her dress was about $135 while Hillary’s jacket was over $10,000, with Melania speaking about prosperity and Hillary about poverty. Well, just as always, as soon as their queen is shown to be a hypocrite, the claws come out. Rather than simply ignore a story they don’t like, it became about how Melania likely didn’t pay for that, someone gave it to her, and so much more. Never mind that Hillary showed she doesn’t care if she’s seen as a hypocrite, Melania shouldn’t plagiarize and we shouldn’t point out that she didn’t show up to speak to people who work hard for their money, wearing a jacket that would pay for a very nice vacation, we are to bow to Hillary, and never question her.

Next, Oliver’s bit and how he just goes on and on, telling us that if we vote for Trump, we’re idiots. He points out that someone from an MMA organization is there to talk about Trump’s business acumen. Naturally, he can’t just point out the topic and speech, but has to make fun of who was chosen to speak. That not being enough, he then insults Antonio Sabato Jr. for saying he doesn’t believe Obama is a Christian. Sabato also said it’s what he believes, and he is not going to force others to believe that, but no, Sabato is a horrible facist who wants to force you to parrot him, just ignore how he said that’s not what he thinks. Well, since he couldn’t ramble on about a less than 20 second sound bite, he goes off on Trump’s evilness. He talks about how he wants a “wall, to keep Mexicans out” after playing a bit from Trump where he talks about convicted violent criminals who’s deportation was ordered, but they’re still here. To the left, that’s the same, anyone who wants to enforce the law wants to stop “poor families who just want a better life” from coming to the US. They must ignore that Mexico has a border barrier on their southern border, that entering Mexico illegally is a guaranteed one way trip to jail, and how no one in the Mexican government cares about speaking English to you, nor will you ever get benefits. So, ignoring all of that, and ignoring that Trump’s comment was about finding CRIMINALS who have been sentenced and deportation ordered, and simply carrying that out, Trump is now a racist.

Moving on, and this will be the end for me since I’m tired of pointing out hypocrisy. Ted Cruz, a 2016 hopeful, gave a speech that was well written and delivered, the only thing he didn’t say was that he implicitly supports and endorses Trump. Now, for a party who has pointed out any time the DNC orders people to ignore what a candidate is doing, or orders them to support one candidate, you’d think a speech about listening to the candidates and voting your conscience wouldn’t be horrible, but no, apparently, the RNC delegates want Cruz tarred and feathered for not bowing to them and doing what they tell him. Trump knew about the speech and didn’t try to stop it, meaning it didn’t bother him. While Oliver apparently equates Trump knowing Cruz wouldn’t completely endorse him is tantamount to the Titanic’s captain knowing about the iceberg in time to turn and saying no, it’s not a big deal! Why must everyone fall lock step into place and verbally say “I support Trump?” Who you vote for is your business, period. I have never nor will I ever tell anyone doing an exit poll who I voted for, you can if you want, but that’s the key, it’s YOUR CHOICE. Why then is it so horrible for Cruz to MAKE UP HIS OWN MIND? Simply put, the RNC is more worried about looking united than actually uniting the party under a banner of common sense, and doing what they say, that being NOT TRYING TO CONTROL PEOPLE.

Finally, there was a lot about how feelings aren’t fact, and how, apparently, nothing said means anything because it had the word feelings in it. I’d say I’m sorry, but I’m not, but when you “feel the economy is suffering” that’s not an emotional feeling, it’s a real feeling. I feel it in the fact that costs have risen on so many things that even with a good job, I’m living paycheck to paycheck. I don’t feel safe, because out government is trying to import people who have trashed Europe, raped countless women and children, and chant death to America while demanding we give them free crap. You see, you can “feel” something without it being just emotions, well, until you have a man who feels he’s really a woman, then it’s fact, we can’t argue, we must use the gender pronoun he wants, even before he tells us, and he can go into the ladies’ room and we can’t complain. Never mind that he is biologically male, he feels like he’s really a female, so he is, and we can’t argue. Do you see the circular logic and hypocrisy?

Well, I’ve ranted enough, and as I said at the start, I don’t like what stress does to me, so I’m going to turn on an audio book and just work today, as for the rest, it will work out, I just hope it’s before it’s too late.

Humpday facepalm material

I tend to post about current events, politics and such, more often than other topics. I’ve ranted about general topics, but that’s rare, and it’s what I’m going to address today. For the last 20 to 30 years, the world has fostered a mindset which has at it’s core, the attitude of “I deserve everything, you can’t offend me, you can’t tell me I’m wrong, give me give me give me.” We see it when school sports teams aren’t allowed to cut players and/or are forced to put everyone trying out onto the team, although thankfully this didn’t happen for long. What has stuck around is the idea of “not hurting students’ feelings” so some schools (one very near me) have a policy that if a student shows up and puts their name on an assignment, they pass. Yes, you read that right, just showing up and putting down your name means you pass without needing to even know what class it’s for, and some students won’t even do that. So, is it any wonder we’ve now got a world where people believe assault is an OK response to a comment, property destruction is OK, and that they know what it’s like to be a soldier because they get called names?

I sincerely hope this is fake, but having seen stories about men found to be innocent after years in jail, just because the girl finally got caught admitting she lied, I won’t be shocked if it’s not fake. This girl thought her boyfriend was cheating, so she smashed his computer. This is destruction of property, and if it’s a nice computer, could be a felony based on the value. He points out it was his cousin, so she then says he deserved to be cheated on for not buying her stuff, before finally saying she’s going to tell the cops he raped her. What’s even worse is that it’s all online, and therefore evidence, with or without the “lol u go gurl” comment from a friend. She firmly believes she can destroy something she doesn’t own, and when proven to be wrong as to why she did it, she says she’ll falsely accuse someone, and will bitch, whine, cry and be just ever so horrified that he would dare show her planned false accusation as evidence. This is, simply put, due to the attitudes in the media. We’ve seen the joke on the Simpsons, but it’s no longer just a joke.
The worst of this is that judges are now thinking like this. The rule used to be if you lied to accuse someone, you were the one in the wrong, now, girls are told that even if they consented at the time, even if they instigated the encounter, they can change their minds and it was rape, which means they can do whatever they want. We won’t even bring up the women who claim it is completely impossible for a man to not rape a woman, as “all forms of sexual intercourse are rape,” and how fast they should run off the cliff with the other lemmings.

So the question is a simple one, and sadly, unlikely to be answered or even addressed any time soon. What should be done to people who blatantly admit they’re going to falsely accuse someone of something, people who lie and don’t care that you knew it in advance, they firmly believe they have the right to do what they want with no consequences. Just 30 years ago this would be cause to arrest the liar and charge them with every crime they commit, but today, were the liar arrested the media would be harping on about how they’re being attacked after being victimized. I could perfectly recreate the scenario and they’d not care. Yes, I could get their agreement to recreate it, then destroy their computer and accuse them of cheating. When they point out and prove they weren’t, I then would accuse them of never buying me anything, then tell them flat out I’m going to falsely accuse them of rape. After all that, they’d still not get it, they’d not understand that when someone does this to anyone, it’s wrong, and they can’t decide who the victim is by who is going to cry on TV better, and thus, boost ratings.

All that said, who’s up for colonizing Mars with everyone who proves to be a useless idiot? We’d solve the over population problem, likely world hunger since we’d still be able to produce food, and we’d be a lot less stressed with the journalists, idiot lawyers, useless judges/politicians/etc, and so on just gone. I really don’t even care if we fix Mars up first, just send’em up there.
